ST JAMES, Jamaica — A giant swing attraction erected between Mango Walk and Norwood has been demolished following enforcement action by the St James Municipal Corporation.
The demolition was carried out on Wednesday after the corporation said operators ignored notices to cease construction. According to the corporation, the structure was built without the necessary building and planning approvals.
“The St James Municipal Corporation today took enforcement action against the operators of a giant swing tourist attraction operating in the community of Norwood Pen,” the corporation said in a statement.
