Two Amer­i­can cit­i­zens want­ed on drug traf­fick­ing charges in the Unit­ed States were de­port­ed yes­ter­day fol­low­ing a joint op­er­a­tion in the South­ern Di­vi­sion.

The 33-year-old man and 27-year-old woman had been held on Tues­day at Ar­joon­s­ingh Dri­ve, Palmiste, where they were liv­ing il­le­gal­ly.

Guardian Me­dia un­der­stands that be­tween 11 am and 4 pm on Fri­day, they were es­cort­ed to Pi­ar­co In­ter­na­tion­al Air­port and placed on a U.S.-bound flight, where they were hand­ed over to Amer­i­can au­thor­i­ties.
