The Ministry of Tertiary Education and Skills Training (MTEST) has officially appointed a new Board of Governors for the University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT), with Professor Selwyn Cudjoe named as Chairman. The appointments were formalised on Friday. The new Board will serve a three-year term.
UTT offers undergraduate, graduate, and post-doctoral programmes, alongside research services and collaborations with corporate donors and government agencies.
Prakash Persad, Minister of Tertiary Education and Skills Training, congratulated the new board and emphasised the importance of collective responsibility and collegiality. He stated, “UTT is about mixing different talents together and becoming a catalyst for the economic development of Trinidad and Tobago.”
