Some 5,248 pay­ments have been is­sued for the School Sup­plies and Book Grant Pro­gramme for the up­com­ing aca­d­e­m­ic year, and the Min­istry of Ed­u­ca­tion says the re­main­ing pay­ments should be com­ple­tion by Sep­tem­ber 5, 2025.

In a state­ment, the Min­istry re­ports some 14,752 pay­ments re­main out­stand­ing.

The Min­istry al­so re­mind­ed the pub­lic that the Grant is be­ing pro­vid­ed to spe­cif­ic, pri­or­i­ty cat­e­gories of ap­pli­cants, name­ly in­di­vid­u­als re­ceiv­ing pub­lic as­sis­tance, un­em­ployed per­sons, per­sons with dis­abil­i­ties, and low-in­come house­holds.
