A significant dust haze continued to affect Barbados and surrounding marine areas on Tuesday, prompting the Barbados Meteorological Services (BMS) to extend its advisory as reduced visibility persisted across the island.
In a 6 a.m. bulletin the BMS said satellite imagery showed a thick plume of moderate dust haze over the island and its waters.
Dust concentrations are expected to gradually decrease through the morning, with conditions forecast to improve during the afternoon, the meteorological service added.
