ST JOHN’S, Antigua – Trinidad and Tobago continued their impressive start to the CWI Rising Stars Under-19 Women’s Championship by securing back-to-back victories with a tense three-wicket triumph over Guyana at the Liberta Sports Club on Sunday.
After being asked to bowl first, the T&T attack seized control early, restricting Guyana to a modest 79-7 from their 20 overs.
Off-spinner Samara Ramnath was the chief destroyer, claiming brilliant figures of 3-20, while the fielding unit kept the pressure on throughout the innings.
