To­ba­go po­lice are search­ing for a ban­dit who robbed a 58-year-old watch­man of $17 and two slices of piz­za dur­ing a vi­o­lent at­tack in Scar­bor­ough.

Po­lice said the in­ci­dent took place around 8.30 on Thurs­day evening as the vic­tim was walk­ing along Gar­den­side Street.

Of­fi­cers said the vic­tim no­ticed a man fol­low­ing him. When he reached near the Scar­bor­ough Li­brary, the sus­pect, de­scribed as about six feet tall, dark-skinned and medi­um-built, grabbed him by the neck and be­gan beat­ing him.
