The People’s National Movement (PNM) says it has received information that some people detained under Preventive Detention Orders (PDOs) during the State of Emergency (SoE) will begin to be released in batches from today.
Addressing the issue yesterday, Opposition Whip Marvin Gonzales said information available to him suggests detainees will be released in groups of 15 between today and the scheduled end of the SoE next Thursday.
