WRECKING has resumed for the Carnival season, Port of Spain Mayor Chinua Alleyne said yesterday.
Speaking with the media after the Port of Spain City Corporation's end-of-month statutory meeting at City Hall, Knox Street, Port of Spain, Alleyne confirmed there was wrecking during the Panorama semi-finals on Sunday.
'Our focus as it pertains to towing vehicles is on vehicles that are illegally parked. In particular, for Carnival there are emergency routes that have to be maintained for emergency vehicles, ambulances and what have you,' he explained.
