A man charged under the new Home Invasion Act has been granted bail in the sum of $200,000 with strict conditions after appearing before the High Court Criminal Division in south Trinidad.
Shawn Cummings, 37, of Sixth Company Circular Road, Indian Walk, faces charges of wounding with intent and home invasion arising out of an alleged cutlass attack on Andrew Teesdale on April 5.
The matter was heard yesterday before Master Gray. Prosecutor Amit Jaggernauth appeared for the State, while Cummings was represented by attorneys Jason Jackson and Krysan Rambert. Rambert made the bail application on behalf of the accused.
