There will be sev­en new In­de­pen­dent Sen­a­tors when the 13th Re­pub­li­can Par­lia­ment com­mences this af­ter­noon.

Guardian Me­dia ex­clu­sive­ly ob­tained a copy of the nine-mem­ber list of In­de­pen­dent Sen­a­tors hand­picked by this coun­try’s Head of State, Pres­i­dent Chris­tine Kan­ga­loo.

There are on­ly two re­turn­ing mem­bers from the last ses­sion of Par­lia­ment.
