The Guyana National Bureau of Standards (GNBS), in collaboration with Regional Health Services in Region Three (Essequibo Islands-West Demerara), hosted a one-day Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Training Workshop for health professionals on Wednesday.
The training workshop held at the Region Three Regional Democratic Council (RDC) Boardroom, saw the participation of 45 health professionals from the De Kinderen Regional Hospital, West Demerara Regional Hospital, and Leonora Diagnostic and Treatment Centre (Leonora Hospital).
The workshop brought together doctors, nurses, laboratory technicians, and administrative and human resources staff to enhance their knowledge and practical application of RCA as a quality improvement tool.
