A MAN from Charford Court in Port of Spain who allegedly shot after Minister of Homeland Security Roger Alexander 23 years ago when he was a police officer has been cleared of any wrongdoing by the High Court.
In delivering a not guilty verdict yesterday, Justice Hayden St Clair-Douglas said he had serious doubts when it came to Alaxander's evidence and that of other State witnesses who had testified during the trial against Ken Foster.
In addition to allegedly shooting at Alexander on April 3, 2002, Foster was also accused of shooting at officers Phillip Forbes, Andrew Lawrence and Victor Graham, possession of an illegal firearm and ammunition.
