Prime Minister Stuart Young has hailed Mark Loquan, who died earlier today, as a “great patriot and a good man.”
Young and Loquan worked closely together with Loquan serving as president of the National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago and Young as Energy Minister.
Loquan, who was diagnosed with brain cancer in February 2024, stepped down as NGC president last year after eight years at the helm.
