As the Peo­ple’s Na­tion­al Move­ment (PNM) at­tempts to re­build fol­low­ing a ma­jor 26-13 de­feat at the poll last week, the par­ty’s Gen­er­al Coun­cil will elect new ex­ec­u­tive mem­bers to­day.

Ac­cord­ing to PNM’s Gen­er­al Sec­re­tary Fos­ter Cum­mings, the po­si­tions of chair­man and vice chair­man would be de­ter­mined via se­cret bal­lot vot­ing in to­day’s sched­uled coun­cil meet­ing.

Cum­mings said this spe­cial Gen­er­al Coun­cil was re­quest­ed via a let­ter signed by 20 mem­bers.
