THE Ministry of Homeland Security now has a new permanent secretary who was brought into the position just one day before former national security minister Fitzgerald Hinds went to the ministry’s Temple Court, Port of Spain, office last Thursday.
During a brief phone interview yesterday evening, Minister of Defence Wayne Sturge confirmed the “drafting in” of the new permanent secretary last Wednesday.
He, however, emphasised that it had nothing to do with Hinds’ visit to the ministry.
