A 52-year-old woman was killed and a PH taxi driver injured following a shooting incident in Valencia on Saturday night.

The deceased has been identified as Nancy Almarales. The taxi driver, Kevin Charles, sustained injuries but received medical attention and is in stable condition, police said.

Reports indicate that shortly after 11p.m., Almarales and Charles were inside a Nissan AD Wagon operating as a PH taxi along Valencia Old Road. As the vehicle proceeded out of Clarence Trace, it came under gunfire from unknown assailants.
