KINGSTON, Jamaica â Detectives assigned to the Jamaica Constabulary Forceâs Specialised Investigations Branch (SIB) have charged 19 alleged members of the âGenasyde Gangâ, including reputed leader Tefari Green, otherwise called âScoobsâ and âScrappyâ.
The accused, which include a female, have been charged with offences under the Criminal Justice (Suppression of Criminal Organisations) Act.
Investigations revealed that the network engaged in a string of serious and violent crimes including murders, shootings and robberies between 2021 and 2026 in the parishes of St James, St Catherine, Kingston, St Andrew and St Thomas.
