The de­com­pos­ing body of a man was found at the Min­istry of Agri­cul­ture, Land, Fish­eries Sur­veys and Map­ping Di­vi­sion Build­ing at Wright­son Road in Port-of-Spain on Mon­day.

Po­lice said the dis­cov­ery was made by of­fi­cers of the Cen­tral Po­lice Sta­tion around 6.30 am on No­vem­ber 17, af­ter an anony­mous caller re­port­ed a foul stench was em­a­nat­ing from the old of­fice which was sup­pos­ed­ly locked.

Re­spond­ing of­fi­cers were grant­ed ac­cess by the MTS of­fi­cer on du­ty and dis­cov­ered the de­com­pos­ing corpse of an African male.
