Fulfilling a commitment to expand the Guyana Digital School (GDS) to provide for learners across all Grade levels, the Education Ministry announced on Saturday that the Guyana Digital School (GDS) registration for 2026/2027 has officially opened, and will include learners from Grades One to 11
The platform was initially opened to students of Grade 10 and 11, and saw over 20,000 students across the Caribbean region signing up. It was promised that the initiative would be expanded to include learners across other Grade levels.
According to a statement from the Ministry the free initiative continues to be available to all Guyanese learners, in addition to being open to learners across the Caribbean. The commencement marks the fulfilment of a commitment from subject minister Sonia Parag to expand access to quality digital learning opportunities.
