Former foreign affairs minister Dr Amery Browne said yesterday Trinidad and Tobago has been taken to “a new level of shame”, following a Government release supporting America’s military action in the Middle East, which was pulled, then re-issued again.

Browne said this country’s foreign policy has been reduced to “puerile subservience”, as he questioned the intelligence behind the release from the Ministry of Foreign and Caricom Affairs, which was subsequently recalled and removed from the ministry’s platform.

Later yesterday evening, the release was re-issued, expressing support for the United States and Israel’s attack against Iran.
