It was a relatively slow day at the Queen’s Park Savannah (QPS) yesterday during the 2026 Parade of the Bands, with a low turnout of observers in the Grand Stand and seating gallery and only one large band crossing the stage during the period the Express was present.
Despite the sparse attendance, masqueraders appeared to enjoy themselves, dancing freely and interacting with onlookers as they made their way before the judges.
Music trucks kept the atmosphere lively throughout the day. Among the selections played were “Encore” by Machel Montano, “Roadman” by Bunji Garlin, and “Cyah Behave” by Voice.
