A 19-year-old student and pundit, who was the son of a former ambassador and the nephew of Tertiary Education Minister Prof Prakash Persad, died in a road traffic accident on the Beetham Highway on Tuesday night.
Pundit Kavish Persad had also days ago received five grade ones in his CAPE (Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination) subjects.
He was the fourth person to be killed on the nation’s roads within 24 hours.
