THE MAJORITY of teachers attached to the Scarborough RC School in Tobago stayed away from classes yesterday following a student reportedly 'running amok' at the school on Tuesday.
Teachers and students locked the doors to their classes on Tuesday as an 'uncontrollable' Standard Three student at the school attempted to assault them. Police were called to the scene and were at the school when the Express visited.
Parents told the Express they have had enough of the violence by the student of the school. They said Tuesday was the third such incident at the school where the police were called in.
