Child playing with gun accidentally shoots man

A 21-year-old man was left in critical condition after he was shot in the chest when a firearm allegedly went off while an adolescent was playing with it at a house in Upper Santa Cruz on Thursday afternoon.
The victim was at a friend’s home at Cucutupano Road, around 4 pm when the incident occurred.
Police said the victim was seated in a bedroom with several other people when an adolescent entered the room while handling a firearm.
