Nicholas Pooran stole the show in The Hundred opener, with a blistering 19-ball 50, blowing Sunrisers Leeds away as MI London began their title defence with a seven-wicket win.
Chasing 144, MI London were cruising, but it was Nicholas Pooran who turned the chase into a party. He smashed five fours and five sixes, reaching his half-century off just 19 balls, as he and Sam Curran put on 93 runs in only 40 balls together.
Pooran finished unbeaten on 58; Curran, unbeaten on 60, sealed victory with 16 balls to spare.
