Barbadians are responding positively to Grenada’s latest tourism drive, a Grenadian tourism official said, with early signs of increased travel between the two islands following a series of promotional events in Bridgetown.
Speaking to Barbados TODAY during a trade expo at PureOceans Restaurant, where several citizens visited the various booths to see and taste what Grenada has to offer, Kwame Hamilton, a marketing assistant with the Grenada Tourism Authority, said the response to the initiative has been encouraging, with visitor traffic between Grenada and Barbados already showing signs of growth.
“We are here at PureOceans Restaurant at a trade expo, where persons can actually come and meet with our local partners and stakeholders to gain more information about the offerings in the state of Grenada,” Hamilton said.
