The Op­po­si­tion Peo­ple’s Na­tion­al Move­ment was un­able to pro­vide an up­date on how yes­ter­day’s cau­cus went, even as the par­ty con­sid­ers whether to ask the In­tegri­ty Com­mis­sion to in­ves­ti­gate Hous­ing Min­is­ter Anil Roberts.

Con­tro­ver­sy sur­round­ed Roberts’s dis­clo­sure of HDC doc­u­ments linked to the fam­i­ly of St Vin­cent Prime Min­is­ter Dr Ralph Gon­salves. Par­ty of­fi­cials said a de­ci­sion would be tak­en at the meet­ing, but al­though sources con­firmed it took place, no one re­spond­ed to con­firm its out­come.

On Tues­day, Roberts post­ed a Face­book video ac­cus­ing Gon­salves of be­ing dis­re­spect­ful to Prime Min­is­ter Kam­la Per­sad-Bisses­sar. He claimed the Gon­salves fam­i­ly re­ceived “great ben­e­fits” from the for­mer PNM ad­min­is­tra­tion and dis­played HDC doc­u­ments for three Vic­to­ria Keyes apart­ments owned by Gon­salves’s wife, Eloise, son, Storm, and daugh­ter, Soleil Gon­salves.
