AFTER just 45 minutes of deliberations, a nine-member jury yesterday returned a verdict of not guilty in favour of a Mundo Nuevo man in a multi-million-dollar marijuana cultivation case.
The case lasted for only two days before Justice Nalini Singh at the Hall of Justice in Port of Spain, having started on Wednesday.
The former accused, Duane Caldon, had been charged in September 2011 with cultivating marijuana in a forested area off Mendoza Road, Talparo.
