A 50-year-old father of two, Dennis Nehorah of La Romaine, died Friday afternoon after his car caught fire on the Solomon Hochoy Highway near Gasparillo.

According to reports, Nehorah was returning from the gym around 1:30 p.m. when he lost control of his Mitsubishi Lancer. The vehicle veered off the roadway into the bushes and caught fire, killing him inside.

Employees from Nicholas and Sons Funeral Home assisted in removing his body from the wreckage.
