Unrest erupts at Vigilance following arrest of 'Demon's' relatives

(Kaieteur News) – Unrest erupted on Tuesday afternoon at Vigilance, East Coast Demerara (ECD), following the arrest of relatives of businessman Mark Cromwell, who was sanctioned by the United States (U.S.) over alleged drug trafficking.
Kaieteur News learnt that police arrested Cromwell’s wife and brother in connection with the disappearance of two Surinamese men, Van Dalen Lorenzo, 28, and Derryl Danillo, 29.
This newspaper had reported that the men arrived safely in Guyana and entered a black station-wagon-type taxi. Since then, they have not been seen or heard from.
