The circus may be in town, but Barbadians will have to wait a bit longer to see it.
The Suarez Circus, called Mexico’s biggest circus, was temporarily shut down yesterday, just a day after its grand opening near the Belle Junction, St Michael.
Twenty years since its last appearance on these shores, it has been a turbulent time for Suarez Circus, with a day’s delayed start due to Customs clearance issues, resulting in its opening on Saturday evening, and then yesterday’s closure by the Ministry of Health and Wellness supported by the Barbados Police Service.
