The Water and Sewerage Authority has provided an update on repair works following the electrical fault at the El Socorro Booster Station.
WASA says repairs to the starter mechanism are progressing methodically, with technical teams maintaining full control of the operation to ensure a safe and thorough resolution.
The second booster unit is now expected to be fully restored and returned to service by 6pm on Thursday, April 16th. Once completed, the station will resume full production, with pipe-borne water supply gradually returning across affected areas, including Port of Spain and surrounding communities.
