All li­cens­ing ser­vices across Trinidad and To­ba­go have been tem­porar­i­ly sus­pend­ed be­cause of a ma­jor tech­ni­cal mal­func­tion af­fect­ing crit­i­cal sys­tems, the Min­istry of Trans­port and Civ­il Avi­a­tion said to­day.

In a state­ment, the Min­istry said the shut­down takes ef­fect im­me­di­ate­ly and im­pacts all li­cens­ing of­fices na­tion­wide.

It said teams are work­ing to re­store ser­vices as soon as pos­si­ble and asked the pub­lic for pa­tience while the is­sue is re­solved.
