A five-week ban on the use of jet skis in the Buc­coo Reef Ma­rine Park will be lift­ed by the court, but it will not be busi­ness as usu­al for op­er­a­tors.

At a vir­tu­al hear­ing to­day, Jus­tice Sher­lanne Pierre ac­knowl­edged the risk posed by the op­er­a­tions, adding the loss of one life shows the grav­i­ty of the mat­ter.

As she an­nounced the grant­i­ng of an in­junc­tion to the To­ba­go House of As­sem­bly against op­er­a­tors, the judge made some con­ces­sions for use of the ma­rine park.
