All seven people injured in a violent crash along Milford Road, Lambeau, Tobago are now in stable condition. Senior Superintendent Earl Elie confirmed to Guardian Media that the victims, including four teenagers, are receiving treatment at the Scarborough General Hospital and their conditions have improved.
The crash occurred when a car driven by a teenager heading east overtook a line of vehicles and lost control. The vehicle collided head-on with another car travelling in the opposite direction. Both vehicles were extensively damaged.
The teenage driver and his passengers—Jacob Cox, 17, Joseph Cox, 19, and Jordan Williams, 19—were seriously injured. The driver of the second car, Lavern Timothy of Lowlands, and her passengers—Denise Mathews-Winchester, Cristal Crosby, and Javon Hamilton—were also hurt.
