A head-on crash on Tuesday afternoon left multiple people injured after two vehicles collided along the Toco Main Road.

Around 3:40 p.m.  officers of the Toco Police Station responded to the crash at L.P. 219, Guayama Village, involving an Audi and a Toyota Fielder Wagon.

Investigations revealed that Lynette Campbell, a teacher at Cumana R.C. Primary School and the driver of the Audi, was heading south along the Toco Main Road when the Toyota, traveling in the opposite direction, swerved into her lane and crashed into her vehicle. The impact caused severe damage to both vehicles and injuries to several occupants.
