Veteran cop dies in highway tragedy

The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service has paid tribute to officer Andre Bucchan, who was killed in a traffic accident last Thursday.
According to police reports, around 6 a.m. on March 26, Bucchan was struck by a Subaru Impreza being driven by an off-duty police officer along the Churchill-Roosevelt Highway near the Maloney traffic lights.
He died at the scene.
