Police arrested a Dominican Republic woman on Sunday after she allegedly attempted to hide a relatively bulky AR-15 assault rifle in her baby’s crib.

In an operation spearheaded by DCP Suzette Martin and ACP Collis Hazel, officers of the Gang Unit and Arima Intelligence and Operations team went to Cunupia between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. on Sunday after monitoring activities at a particular house.

When officers raided the premises, they found the 33-year-old Dominican Republic woman.
