Author raises concerns over decline in reading

Concerns are being raised about a decline in reading among Barbadians.

Author, May Hinds, believes the trend is affecting the country’s ability to think critically, communicate effectively and develop new ideas.

Speaking during the launch of the Mega Book Showcase, she emphasised the importance of reading to national development.
