Two people, including a 14-year-old boy, were killed and an eight-year-old child injured during a shooting at Sesame Street, Pinto Road, Arima, in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Police said the incident occurred around 5.45 a.m. today when officers on mobile patrol received a report of a shooting in progress and responded to the area.
On arrival at about 5.50 a.m., officers observed a group of people gathered near an unfinished red-brick house along a track. Inside the building, police found the body of Dijon Osborne Cottoy, 23, lying on a mattress in a kitchen area. He was bare-chested, slim-built, and unresponsive.
