The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) licence to move forward with the Dragon gas deal with Venezuela should be granted to Trinidad and Tobago soon.
This was the assurance given by Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar yesterday following the inauguration of the Artificial Limb Fitment Camp at the Diplomatic Centre in St Ann’s yesterday. The camp was hosted by the Office of the Prime Minister and the Indian High Commission.
In an interview with the media, the Prime Minister reminded them that United States Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated in a media release that he had approved the OFAC licence.
