Councillor's elderly brother dies in 'freak' accident at home

The brother of vice chairman of the Penal/Debe Regional Corporation and longstanding councillor, Shanty Boodram, was killed in what relatives have described as a ‘freak accident’ on Monday.
Kenny Girdharie Harbuckhan, 77, died at his Satnarine Trace, Clarke Road, Penal, home, after a galvanised and wooden shed collapsed on him.
Relatives said he the elderly man was trying to take down a shed at his home when it fell on him.
