A Point Fortin man whose body was found in a cemetery in Claxton Bay on Wednesday was a robbery and narcotics offender whose home was searched by the police at least three times during the current State of Emergency.
The decomposing body of Curtland Wharwood, 32, of Parry Lands in Guapo, was found two days later in the Diamond Village Public Cemetery.
Wharwood's criminal record showed that he had been convicted of offences of robbery, larceny and possession of narcotics, and he was imprisoned three times.
