Two men, in­clud­ing a for­mer na­tion­al Un­der-17 foot­baller and a mu­sic artiste, are dead and a third hos­pi­talised fol­low­ing a sin­gle-ve­hi­cle crash along the South­ern Main Road, St Mar­garet’s, in the ear­ly hours of Sat­ur­day.

Dead are Tyrek “Skunk” James, 27, a labour­er of Mara­bel­la, and 38-year-old Mar­ques Fi­garo of Cy­press Ridge, Union Hall, al­so known in mu­sic cir­cles as “Ras­ta Marky”. Both were pas­sen­gers in the ve­hi­cle.

James pre­vi­ous­ly rep­re­sent­ed Trinidad and To­ba­go at the Un­der-17 lev­el, while Fi­garo had been ac­tive in the lo­cal mu­sic scene.
