“Do not be deterred, don't get frustrated. Stay in the lines and cast your vote.”

This was the message from the United National Congress (UNC) political leader, Kamla Persad-Bissessar, to the electorate earlier today.

Persad-Bissessar was speaking to the media shortly after midday, outside of the Hermitage Presbyterian School, where she had earlier cast her vote.
