A man from Arima with a criminal record of 25 pending cases has been granted bail after appearing in court charged with robbing a woman at a supermarket car park in Chaguanas, last Friday.
Nickail Julien, 35, of Mahogany Drive, Malabar, Arima, was granted $75,000 bail when he appeared before High Court Master Rhea Libert, yesterday.
Police prosecutors objected to bail for Julien based on his lengthy criminal record, which includes pending cases for firearm possession, robbery and shooting offences.
