A NUMBER of spectators yesterday criticised the viewing arrangements as well as having to cross a drain for the Independence Day parade at the Queen’s Park Savannah in Port of Spain.
But others praised the return of the national celebration.
The parade, which got under way at 8 a.m. as scheduled, was held at a new venue within the Queen’s Park Savannah, near President’s House.
