With just over a week into the new school term, police have already recorded a troubling discovery, a 13-year-old student caught with marijuana at school.
According to reports, around 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, an officer attached to the Police Service’s School Oriented Policing project was on duty at Coryal High School, Cumuto, when he approached a Form One pupil.
The officer asked the boy to empty his pockets. The child complied and produced a small quantity of marijuana, later weighed at 1.6 grammes, from his front pocket.
