Chairman of the Tobago Division of the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Curtis Williams, says recent tariff challenges with the United States could push local businesses to explore new markets abroad.
Williams told Guardian Media that he knows this is a matter the country will go into negotiations with US about to seek a reduction in tariffs.
But until then, he said the Tobago business community should look beyond traditional trade partners.
